Bhutan takes archery very seriously… In villages as much as five days walk from the nearest road, sometimes with no electricity, or running water in sight- it’s not uncommon to see some of the most advanced compound hunting bow technology featured as villagers compete in multi-day archery festivals. Targets are commonly placed at a range of 150m, and only 26cm wide, across fields with wandering yak sometimes in between…
